Exceptional Hair Designs is a passionate concept I started over 35 years ago when I began my hair styling career. I believe in creating personalized hair cuts and colors for men and women that allow their individual style to come through while maintaining a professional look.

For me Hairstyling has always been about more than just cutting and coloring, it’s about building genuine relationships, about learning who my clients are as individuals and being blessed to share some of their experiences.
I began my career over 35 years ago in Anchorage Alaska. I was blessed to have an instructor who was herself a Framesi Master Colourist. Since that time I have acquired licenses in 6 States and owned 7 Salons. I have written and published a course for my industry to help Operators develop successful businesses of their own. I have a deep love and respect for the incredible opportunity Clients give to me when they trust me to create a personalized style or colour for them.
Other activities that I hold dear are health, fitness and good nutrition. I’m now retired from active competition, but for the last 15 years I have competed as a Professional Bodybuilder and 13 years as an Amateur. I was able to travel to many places and meet wonderful people through my sport. I definitely encourage healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle with a hearty dose of adventure
